Light, Protection and Hope
This painting has many meanings. The flowers are almond blossoms a flower used in some Jewish funerals to symbolize hope. The Hamsa in the middle is a Jewish symbol of protection, the person holding this up is ment to be us/the people, the posture of the figure is showing the toll we take for the protection and the light is showing the awareness we try to spread. The eyeball in the hand is yellow in color so that if you are far away from the painting it is hard to see and you only see it up close. This symbolizes how a lot of people didn't know about the problems Jews faced until this situation appeared.
