Religious School (TLC)

Torah Lishmah (studying Torah for Torah’s sake) Community—or TLC—is the nationally recognized, award-winning religious school of Tree of Life*Or L’Simcha Congregation that operates under the educational direction of Karen Morris and the rabbinic supervision of Rabbi Chuck Diamond.

We are a Framework for Excellence school as recognized by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

TLC encourages and fosters a lifelong love and respect for Jewish values and study, offering programming for students in kindergarten through grade seven. Children are provided with an enriching and stimulating Jewish education covering subjects that include Hebrew reading (conversational), Torah, tefillah (prayer) and theology, Jewish holidays, Israel, Jewish history and current events and ethics and values.

Our nurturing professional staff of experienced teachers is highly dedicated to teaching students their Jewish heritage and to instilling in them a strong, positive Jewish identity.

We are an inclusive and welcoming learning environment with an innovative curriculum tailored to meet your child’s needs.
